Engineering: Ron Carr of Kingsley Engineering, formerly of Wade Trim Engineering in Traverse City. The PUD plan was unanimously approved by Long Lake Township in November 2007. The final site plan for the Northern Phase is ready for submittal. The other phases should progress smoothly as the Township has given this project its full endorsement. The project responds closely to the Township priorities of rural preservation and natural systems protection.
Owners: DCR Investment, a Limited Liability Corporation. The owners are Gerald and Marilyn Woolfolk of Ann Arbor. The mortgage is held by Greenstone Farm Credit Services. 2010 taxes totaled $3,716.99.
The Woolfolk family owns and/or has legal rights to three properties located adjacent to the southern Traditional Lots Phase of the Planned Unit Development (PUD), as follows (see image at top right):
Legal "Right of Refusal" on 1 acre (house property to the east of the southern Traditional Lots Phase.
Legal "Right of Refusal" on 5 acres (house and property) to the west of the southern Traditional Losts Phase.
Ownership of 2 acres (over 600 feet lake front property) on the adjacent Coffield Lake, which is located directly across North Long Lake Road from the southern Traditional Lots Phase of the PUD.
